Dr. Beckman has practiced in the Columbus area for 16 years. He is a cornea specialist and practices general ophthalmology. His surgical interests include corneal transplants including the new DSEK procedure, small-incision cataract surgery, pterygium surgery, and glaucoma lasers. Dr. Beckman also has a special interest in the treatment of dry eyes.
Dr. Beckman is now involved in two FDA studies for the treatment of keratoconus and corneal ectasia using collagen crosslinking technology. He is the only physician in Ohio participating in this study sponsored by Avedro.
